The Shele House® Team
We bring you our best, delivering a powerful leadership development solution.
Ed has been a member of the development and presentation team for Shele House® since it was created in 1999.
He began his advertising career in the mailroom of a large New York agency. His talents weren't recognized at the time. The agency is long gone, and he owns a training and consulting firm near Washington, DC.
He works extensively in Asia, Europe and North America for multinational networks and marcomms industry trade groups. Ed introduced professional sales training to account directors in agencies, and also trains salespeople and their customers in media.
Early in his career he was a broadcaster, journalist and a corporate executive with a large media company, headed new ventures at a training center for print media, and consulted with advertising and media clients.
Ed has been a member of the adjunct faculty at the Media Management Center at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Based in London, Nick began his career as a young account man at one of that city's top privately-owned agencies. He then moved to Saatchi & Saatchi, working on a mix of domestic and international clients before moving to FCB.
As an account director, he led business across Europe, the Middle East, APAC and India for clients including Honda, PepsiCo Tropicana, Fujitsu, Siemens and SC Johnson. In addition to his client responsibilities, Nick was managing partner and head of account management at Draftfcb in London.
There he created and implemented a range of developmental and mentoring solutions and tutored extensively across the communications industry, including the British IPA.
In addition to work on the Agency Leadership Program®, he owns a communication consultancy helping a mix of businesses across animation, music and film production.
Jim develops software for simulations, games, education, websites and other applications. He is also a skilled team facilitator in the Agency Leadership Program™, of which Shele House is an integral part.
The Shele House® user experience is the result of Jim's work in bringing the agency to life.
He has more than 25 years' experience in software development, 15 of them working on Shele House itself. Jim has been a team facilitator for Shele House and in other leadership simulations since 1999.
Trained as a chemical engineer, he developed simulations for industrial facilities as well as educational and adventure games. When not working for us, Jim develops software for KickBack Points, a customer appreciation program in the northwest U.S.
He is a former advanced mathematics teacher who has been known to motivate reluctant students by threatening to play his violin.
